- BLACK SATURDAY FIRE AND FLOOD RECOVERY CONTRACT
Client: Murrindindi Shire Council Dates: January 2010 to September 2012 Location: Various throughout Murrindindi Shire Project Overview: PatAsh were successful in their bid to win the Fire and Flood recovery work for Murrindindi Shire in 2010 – resulting from the Black Saturday Fires. PatAsh established operation yards at King Lake, Marysville, Flowerdale, Buxton and Molesworth, with the main command centre in King Lake. PatAsh actively recruited local employees and sub-contractors from the devastated areas. PatAsh was initially contracted to assist with the clean-up works including tree removal and disposal, erosion control, environmental clean-up, contamination control, debris clearing and swale excavation. From the initial clean up, PatAsh were contracted to rebuild town roads, install new drainage, and assist communities to rebuild. Our works included: Major road rehabilitations Road construction and reinstatement Bridge construction and repairs, and maintenance Major drainage line for Marysville Installation of culverts, including concrete pipes, headwalls, end walls, pits, grated pits Asphalt reinstatement and patching PatAsh also assisted the Murrindindi Council to establish hard rock quarries for council roads to be used by all contractors completing the works in the area.
- FLOOD RECOVERY WORKS
Client: Moira Shire Council Dates: October 2012 to October 2013 Location: Various throughout Moira Shire Project Overview: PatAsh and Civil were successful in their bid to win the Flood recovery work for Moira Shire in 2012. After award, PatAsh quickly established a local office to control the contract in Numurkah. PatAsh employed 100% local staff from the affected area, including truck drivers, plant operators and management teams. We also had a large subcontractor base who were all local to the area. All materials were sourced locally – quarry materials, concrete products, office equipment, mechanical parts and labour and accommodation. Our scope of works was as follows: Road reconstruction works Gravel road re-sheeting Construction of new gravel roads Bitumen reinstatement – patching program >8,000m2 Shoulder reconstruction Asphalt edge sealing Drainage Works Installation of new culverts Installation of new headwalls and wing walls Desilting of existing swale drains Rock beaching to bridges, culverts

Client: Brimbank City Council Dates: November 2015 to November 2016 Location: Part of Regional Rail Link – From Tottenham Station to Western Ring Road Project Overview: Construction of 5.8km long, 3m wide concrete construction path as part of the Regional Rail Link Construct 17,000m2 concrete Shared User Path including 2500+m3 concrete and 1500 sheets of SL82 mesh Electrical works including Public lighting, including conduits and pits the whole length of the path, traffic light alterations and pedestrian crossings. Line marking, traffic management, drainage alterations, landscaping, garden bed cultivation, fencing installations, and culvert construction.

Platform Repairs – Undertake platform reconstruction works to 6 Regional V Line stations. Works include train and pedestrian management, implement train safety management plan, excavate existing surface, supply and lay class 1 FCR base, asphalt wearing course.

Excavation and disposal of 18000 cub m of spoil 50+ Pit alterations 120+ crossover culvert with driveable headwalls 16km of swale drains Kerb and channel and concrete driveways Road pavement construction including 20,000 ton class 3 and 20,000 ton class 2 rock 60,000 m2 of spray sealing, and asphalting.
